Can you believe there is less than a week until Christmas? How did that happen??! It is a busy time of year, its so easy to get run down and there are loads of bugs about, so I am here to remind you to look after yourself and drink your greens! I've been blasting up green smoothies most mornings these past weeks. They are super quick and easy to prepare - if I know I'll be in a hurry in the morning I prep the fruit and veggies that I'll be using before I go to bed so all I need to do in the morning is bung it all in the Nutribullet, add any extras and blitz away! Here's one of my favourites, but the great thing about these is that you can put in whatever you have to hand (well, not quite, but you know what I mean!).
I've used spinach, green apple, celery, kiwi, avocado, lime juice, mint, Funktional Foods Green Superblend Powder (a blend of wheatgrass powder, pea protein powder, barley grass powder, spinach powder, ginger powder and spirulina powder), and coconut water.
